A bold way to express your style is with a scarf; depending on how it's tied, you can convey quite a bit. Bows are always playful and when pinned with a scarf clip add a feminine touch to any ensemble. An investment piece, a scarf clip turns this dollar store scarf into a million dollar look!
Fun and festive were the mood of the St. Patrick's Day Parade, and I didn't want to be left out; although I have a novelty t-shirt (as did most of the parade revelers), I found this headband that conveyed a cute slogan in a unique way!
How I Styled It?
1, 2, 3 Styling is so easy when you have one stand out color like this lime green coat! On the color wheel, green pairs well with yellows, but stands out against blues and black. On St. Patrick's Day, it's easy to go overboard with memorabilia celebrating the day; style rules are almost always thrown out the window for the sake of paying homage to the patron saint of Ireland. I, on the other hand, relished the opportunity to style this uncommon shade of lime green with black skinnies, a long-sleeve v-neck t-shirt, black belt and wedge sneakers. I donned my green socks (a hold over from Christmas sale some years ago), which peek through the gap below my jeans and the cuff of my shoe with every step, unifying the green of the entire look. SN
